A Journey Through Color and Liberation

This body of work invites viewers into a realm where vibrant hues collide with the essence of liberation. "La Ciudad Desnuda" transcends mere visual experience, weaving together the rich tapestry of Thailand’s landscapes and people who inhabit them. These images, each a portal to the inviting Thai culture, pulsate with energy and warmth. Here, color becomes a language, speaking of joy, existence, and the freedom to embrace and indulge in ones temptations. The colors that adorn this display serve as a reminder that beauty lies in acceptance and raw truth. The term "desnuda," meaning naked in Spanish, resonates throughout the exhibition as a profound symbol of freedom. To be naked is to shed the layers of expectation and conformity, embracing vulnerability as a source of strength. Being present in the space that they currently occupy and to embracing the inevitable uncertainty of life. It is an invitation to strip away the constraints of judgment and to revel in the rawness of existence. In this context, "desnuda" becomes a celebration of authenticity, where the vibrant landscapes and peopole of Thailand coalesce into a singular narrative of emancipation. Through "La Ciudad Desnuda," viewers are called to reflect upon their own experiences of freedom and the beauty found in authenticity. The exhibition challenges us to recognize that true liberation is a spectrum, painted in the colors of our individuality and the courage to express it. In this vibrant display, we find not just images, but a profound invitation to embrace the naked truth of who we are. This series was shot on 120mm and 35mm.
